Welcome to the Ouachita Baptist University

Net Price Calculator!

Ouachita Baptist University is pleased to provide this net price calculator for prospective, first time, incoming undergraduates who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents to assist in early financial planning. It is intended to assist in providing an estimate of available resources from federal, state, and institutional programs. The estimates are based on the award policies and average awards of the 2016-17 academic year and are subject to change. Please note this calculator is for estimates only and the actual award package will vary depending upon the time of year, regulatory and institutional policy changes and availability of funds. Additional sources of aid may be identified using OBU's financial aid website at www.obu.edu.

An application for admission should be completed by December 1 before enrollment to receive priority consideration for all OBU scholarships and a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted to receive any federal and need based institutional aid. The 2017-18 FAFSA is available on or after 10/1/2016 at www.fafsa.gov.

6 The calculator will take approximately 6 minutes to complete.

To help you complete this process, it would be helpful to have the items listed below.

  • Student and Parent 2015 Income Tax Returns
  • Student academic information (GPA and SAT/ACT scores)

*Future costs and financial aid estimates are subject to change. Results of the calculator are estimates only and not guaranteed by the Office of Student Financial Services or the Office of Admission Counseling at Ouachita Baptist University. The accuracy of your estimated award package is based on the information you provide. The estimated awards are based on the assumption the student will complete the FAFSA and enroll in at least 12 credit hours per semester. Ouachita Online degree programs and OBU@NLC are not eligible for Ouachita scholarships. Also, undergraduate transfer students may receive awards that vary from what is estimated here. Scholarship athletes and students enrolled in the School of the Fine Arts are awarded by the athletic department and fine arts respectively. Those awards and/or eligibility for such awards will affect and quite possibly override estimated awards presented on the results page of this calculator.
